ALM Names Futurist Andrew McAfee Speaker for Legalweek, The Experience

The new event Legalweek, The Experience will feature one of the country's top futurists. The summit is an expanded program for those attending Legaltech New York. 

Legalweek, The Experience is being held at the New York Midtown Hilton. Andrew McAfee will be the opening keynote speaker on January 31st. 

McAfee is slated to discuss how organizations can use technology to thrive in the future. ABC television personality Sunny Hostin is the other keynote speaker. 

McAfee is the co-author of the bestseller, "The Second Machine Age: Work, Progress, Prosperity in a time of Brilliant Technologies." The book was a finalist for the Financial Times/McKinsey business book of the year. 

McAfee has also written for Forbes, Harvard Business Review and The New York Times. He is a principal research scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. 

At MIT, McAfee serves as the director of their Initiative on the Digital Economy as well. Ziff-Davis has called him one of the "100 Most Influential People in IT."
