This month, the winner of American Idol season 14, Nick Fradiani, returned home for a celebration.  His victory on the reality show is way in the rearview mirror, but he was marking the release of his debut album.

Fradiani was back in his home state for an album event on August 6th at the Connecticut Post Mall in Milford.  He gave fans a taste of his new release with a short acoustic performance.

In addition, for those who purchased a copy of "Hurricane", Fradiani signed them and posed for photos.  There were certainly scores of fans eager to take part in a history-making day for their native son.

Fradiani captured the second to last crown in the iconic run of the revolutionary Fox series, American Idol.  Before gaining success on the show, he was in a band called Beach Avenue that was on season nine of "America's Got Talent".

Fradiani's debut single, "Beautiful Life", was the official anthem for the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup.  It also hit the top 25 on the U.S. digital charts.

In 2011, Fradiani became regionally known in the business for Beach Avenue's win at the Mohegan Sun Battle of the Bands.  He gained a love for music from his father who is a professional musician that was one of his bandmates.
