Bestselling Author Lena Nelson Dooley Speaks at Christian Writers Workshop

Last week, Christian author Lena Nelson Dooley paid a visit to Waco, Texas. She spoke at the annual kickoff event for the Christian Writers Workshop. 

The kickoff was held at 9 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Woodway on January 27th. Dooley's presentation was titled, "Applying the Father's Heart to Your Writing." 

Tickets were $20 for adults and $5 for students. Board member Mary Hamilton was familiar with Dooley and recommended her as a speaker. 

Dooley has sold over 850,000 copies of her books. She is a member of the American Christian Fiction Writers and active in their Dallas-Fort Worth chapter. 

ACFW has presented Dooley with three Carol Award silver pins. She is also a Selah Award winner and Will Rogers bronze medallion recipient. 

Dooley also runs an award-winning blog, A Christian Writer's World. She has spoken to groups in six states.
