Buffy the Vampire Slayer Actor James Marsters Appears at May’s Wizard World Minneapolis

Former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star James Marsters is just one of the headliners for May's Wizard World Minneapolis.  Marsters will be making appearances all three days at the event, which runs May 6-8 at the Minneapolis Convention Center. 

Wizard World brings together individuals from the comic, sci-fi, and pop culture world.  Others who will be attending include internationally known fitness guru Lou Ferrigno and popular actor James Frain.

Hours for the weekend run Friday 3-8 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m-7 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m.-4 p.m.  Three-day passes run $75 while one-day admission tickets range in price from $35-$45.  

Marsters most notably played Spike on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series that became a phenomenon in the 1990's.  He also played the character on the Buffy spin-off series, Angel, from 1997-2004.

Since the end of Angel, Marsters has worked consistently in TV on series like Smallville, Without a Trace, and Hawaii Five-O.  Throughout his career, he has also made film appearances. 

For his work on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Marsters was nominated for four Teen Choice Awards.  He is an accomplished musician as well who has released three solo albums.
