Candy Crush Co-Creator Tommy Palm Keynotes BAFTA Games Guru Live Event

One of the most innovative people in the mobile games space addressed industry professionals at an important conference today.  Candy Crush co-creator Tommy Palm was the keynote speaker at BAFTA Games Guru Live. 

The inaugural event was held in London.  The gaming portion is just one track of a three-day event that also covers television and film.

Palm has long been a player in the mobile gaming world.  One of his previous companies, King Digital Entertainment, went public based on the success of the game he co-created, Candy Crush.

Last year, Palm co-founded Resolution Games.  He currently serves as CEO of the virtual reality gaming studio. 

Palm also previously had a hand in founding mobile gaming outposts Fabrication Games and Jadestone Group.  His roots in game programming can be traded to working on a home computer in 1986 while a teenager.
