Commvault Names Former Mythbusters Host Adam Savage Kickoff Speaker for Customer Conference

This October, Commvault will host their inaugural customer conference in Orlando, Florida.  Commvault GO 2016 will talk about protecting and activating many different types of stored data.

To add some spice to the event, Commvault is bringing in a noted television personality.  Former MythBusters host Adam Savage is the opening keynote speaker for the conference. 

Savage will use his experience to look at the importance of data today and just how the fast-paced world operates.  There are going to be 45 different breakout sessions held from October 3-5 at the Rosen Shingle Creek. 

For 14 years, Savage was the co-host of the hit Discovery Channel show "MythBusters" along with Jamie Hyneman.  HIs animated personality never failed to entertain audiences while the duos examined various myths. 

Outside of TV, Savage has had a very diverse work history, but is primarily known as an industrial design and special effects designer.  Many of his models have appeared in major films. 

Savage currently hosts a weekly podcast titled, "Still Untitled: The Adam Savage Project".  He is also an editor and writer at Tested.com.
