Disney Channel Star Calum Worthy Holds Houston Autograph Signing

Disney Channel star Calum Worthy certainly has a rabid fanbase of young fans.  He got to interact with some of them last week in Houston.

Worthy held a free autograph signing at West Oaks Mall last Friday from 6-8 p.m.  He sat in front of the fireplace in the food court to sign for the crowd.

Worthy also took pictures and addressed the assembled fans.  There was also a special VIP meet and greet that attendees could shop their way in by spending over $100 at West Oaks retailers. 

Many know Worthy best as Dez from the hit Disney Channel show "Austin and Aly".  Prior to his turn on the show, he racked up six Young Artist Award nominations and two wins.  

In 2010, Worthy also received a Leo Award for his performance in "Stormworld".  There is no shortage of other television roles he has guest starred in and he has appeared in several films as well.

Worthy got his first on-screen role at age nine.  He was born in Victoria, British Columbia and currently resides in Los Angeles.
