Fashion Designer India Hicks Speaks at Texas Rose Festival Ladies Luncheon

A top personality from the fashion world comes to the Texas Rose Festival this week.  India Hicks speaks at the event's Ladies' Luncheon.

The lunch is Friday at 11:30 a.m. at Green Acres Baptist Church CrossWalk Conference Center in Tyler.  Tickets are $50. 

This is the 83rd annual festival that runs October 13-16.  It serves as a way to celebrate the rose-growing industry in Tyler. 

Hicks gained notoriety as a fashion model for Ralph Lauren.  Last year, she founded her own lifestyle brand. 

Hicks is the author of three books.  Her most recent work, "Island Style", landed on The New York Times Bestseller List.

Previously, Hicks hosted the Bravo competition series, "Top Design".  She has been a television commentator on the British royal family for several outlets.
