Fashion Designer Tommy Hilfiger Holds New Jersey Book Signing November 2nd

Fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger is an internationally known figure in his industry.  He is sure to draw a buzz when he comes to Princeton, New Jersey on November 2nd.

Hilfiger will be holding a book signing for his biography, "American Dreamer: My Life in Fashion & Business", at the Hyatt Regency Princeton from 7-8:30 p.m. that evening.  He will also be doing a meet and greet. 

The event is being put on by the Princeton Chamber of Commerce.  Tickets are $45 and included the VIP reception, signing and presentation from Hilfiger. 

Hilfiger was a pioneer from an early age, opening his first clothing store as a teenager.  In 1985, he founded the Tommy Hilfiger Corporation and the rest was history. 

The company has become an internationally recognized apparel brand.  Hilfiger originally took it public in 1992 and sold it for $1.6 billion in 2006. 

Hilfiger remains involved in his brainchild to this day as the principal designer.  In 2012, the Council of Fashion Designers of America presented him with the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award.
