Former Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Peter Pace Keynotes ICAPM Fall Conference This Week

The International Association of Credit Portfolio Managers is convening for their Annual Fall Conference on Thursday and Friday.  It is being hosted in Washington D.C. at The Washington Court Hotel.  

A leading national security expert is scheduled to keynote the event.  Former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Peter Pace, is presenting on behalf of Brilliance Financial Technology. 

Pace's presentation is titled, "Current and Future National Security Challenges: An Expert's View."  He will specifically key on the increasing threat of cyber security.  

Pace was the 16th of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from 2005-2007.  He was the first Marine to ever be appointed to the chairman position. 

In addition, Pace was the first Marine officer to have three different four-star assignments.  He previously served as the Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and U.S. Southern Command Commander-in-Chief.  

Pace is now an operating partner with the private equity firm Behrman Capital.  He has been asked to join the Board of Directors for many organizations.
