Fox Networks Group CEO Peter Rice Keynotes Variety’s Dealmakers Breakfast

Variety's Dealmakers breakfast hosted some of the top power brokers in entertainment. One of the titans of the industry, Fox Networks Group CEO Peter Rice served as keynote speaker. 

The event was held on December 7th in Beverly Hills, Califonia. Rice discussed the state of the media business with Variety co-editor-in-chief Claudia Eller. 

Bank of America and Merrill Lynch partnered to host the event with Variety. Rice followed in a line of speakers that include successful entertainment executives Shane Smith, Leslie Moonves and Bob Iger. 

Rice has been the chairman and CEO of Fox Networks Group since 2012. This September, he was also promoted to president of 21st Century Fox. 

As CEO, Rice led the formation of FXX and Fox Sports channels FS1 and FS2. This year, Fox Networks Group collected 26 Primetime and Sports Emmys. 

Rice began his career in marketing with 21st Century Fox's film studio. He is a graduate of the University of Nottingham.
