Glee Actor Chris Colfer Hosts Book Signing at Columbus High School

Chris Colfer gained fans across the country for his starring role in the hit Fox series, "Glee".  At the same time, he has also built a burgeoning career as a writer. 

Last Tuesday, Coffer had the fifth book in his "Land of Stories" series released.  On Thursday, he made an appearance at Bexley High School in Columbus, Ohio to promote "An Author's Odyssey".  

On Colfer's book tour, he holds a discussion, does some trivia and runs a raffle that gives fans entrance to a meet and greet.  The Land of Stories series is geared for kids 8-12 and shares fairy tale-like stories. 

The first novel Colfer published, "The Wishing Well", reached number one on the New York Times bestseller list.  Each of the other three books until this most recent release also found spots in the top five on the NYT list.  

From 2009 to the series conclusion in 2015, Colfer starred as Kurt Hummel on Glee.  For his work on the show, he won a Golden Globe and was nominated for two Emmy Awards. 

Colfer was selected as the Favorite Comedic TV Actor for three straight years at the People's Choice Awards.  In 2011, Time named him to their list of the 100 most influential people.
