As CEO of Go Daddy, Blake Irving has been a powerful advocate for the advancement of women in technology.  On Tuesday, he helped host a documentary screening to share some of the gender equality problems in the industry.

Alongside director Robin Hauser Reynolds, Irving will host a screening of "CODE: Debugging the Gender Gap".  He was an executive producer on the film.

The screening was hosted at Cal Poly's Spanos Theatre.  It was free and open to the public.

Irving joined Go Daddy as CEO and Board Director in 2013.  He leads the world's largest domain name provider and web host while helping small businesses find their presence.

Prior to Go Daddy, Irving was the EVP and Chief Product Officer at Yahoo!.  He also had a 15-year tenure at Microsoft working in several senior roles.

Irving's career began at Xerox in 1981.  He holds a bachelor's degree from San Diego State and master's from Pepperdine University.
