Huntington Bank CEO Stephen Steinour Speaks at Akron Roundtable Next Week

An influential leader in Ohio banking is speaking at the Akron Roundtable next week. Huntington Bank CEO Stephen Steinour will be featured on December 8th. 

Steinour's presentation is being held at noon at Quaker Station on the Akron campus. It is titled, "Coming Together in Partnership."

In particular, Steinour will be discussing the merger between Huntington and the Akron-based FirstMerit. Tickets for the event are $20. 

Steinour became chairman, president and CEO of Huntington in 2009. He was previously managing partner at CrossHarbor Capital Partners. 

In the past, Steinour has worked for Citizens Financial Group, Fleet Financial Group and Bank of New England. His career began with the U.S. Treasury Department and the FDIC.

Steinour is currently on the Board of Directors for L Brands, Inc. and Exelon Corporation. He serves as a trustee for the Wexner Medical Center at The Ohio State University.
