For all of his tremendous accomplishments, Kevin Harrington is a business icon.  The excitement for his keynote presentation at the International Boatbuilders' Exhibition & Conference Industry Breakfast should be palpable this fall.

Harrigton will deliver his speech on October 4th at the Tampa Waterside Marriott Hotel.  In addition, there will be a State of the Industry address and the IBEX Innovation Awards presentation at the breakfast.

The IBEX conference will be held next to the Marriott at the Tampa Convention Center.  Registration to attend begins at $950.

In the 1980's, Harrington came up with the original idea for the infomercial.  With his idea in tow, he has gone on to participate in over 500 product launches.

Some of the companies Harrington has founded in relation to the infomercial innovation include Quantum International, HSN direct, Reliant International Media and As Seen on TV, Inc.  The quick success he had led to Entrepreneur Magazine naming him one of the 100 best entrepreneurs in the world by 1990.

More recently, Harrington is best known as an original shark on the hit ABC series "Shark Tank".  He spent two seasons on the show.
