Prior to becoming mayor, Bloomberg founded the software company Bloomberg L.P. and dabbled in various other businesses. Today, he continues his passionate fight against climate change as the Secretary General's Special Envoy for Cities and Climate Change in the United Nations and as President of the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group.
