Parsons Corp CEO Charles Harrington Keynotes Southern California CISO Executive Summit

Parsons Corp. Chairman and CEO Charles Harrington spoke in front of several important executives yesterday.  He was one of three keynote speakers at the Southern California CISO Executive Summit.  

The summit was held for invited guests only at the L.A. Downtown Hotel in Los Angeles.  It was put on by EVANTA to address information security issues that affect IT and OT networks. 

Harrington's presentation was titled, "Enterprise Cybersecurity Through a CEO's Eyes".  He talked about how everyone can improve their company security.  

Harrington has worked for Parsons since 1982.  He became CEO and chairman in 2008 while adding the title of president in 2009.  

As head of the company, Harrington oversees 15,000 employees and annual revenues that exceed three billion.  In 2006, he took his first major step to his current position by being named Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer of Parsons.  

Harrington graduated with honors from UCLA's Anderson School of Management.  He received his bachelor's degree in engineering and graduated magna cum laude from California Polytechnic State University.
