Penn State Altoona Adds Shark Tank Star Robert Herjavec to Speaker Series

Penn State Altoona is holding a special conversation about the hit ABC business reality show "Shark Tank".  There is no better person to have speak than Robert Herjavec, who joins Barbara Corcoran as new additions to the event.

The discussion will be held at the Blair County Convention Center on March 21st.  It begins at 7:30 p.m. and will be moderated by Steve Sheetz.  

Individual tickets to attend are $50.  Proceeds from this and other Speaker Series evenings benefit the Penn State Altoona Future Fund. 

Herjavec shares his business acumen as a leading shark investor on Shark Tank and the Canadian version of the show, "Dragons' Den".  Last year, he appeared on "Dancing With the Stars" and came in sixth place. 

Early in his entrepreneurial career, Herjavec built and sold several IT companies.  He founded Herjavec Group in 2003 and it has become one of North America's leading technology companies. 

Herjavec has had two top ten bestsellers and a third book he authored is due out at the end of the month.  In 2012, he was named Entrepreneur of the Year in the field of technology by Ernst & Young.
