Reality TV Star Jennifer Arnold Speaks at Health Foundation Fundraiser in Texas this April

The CHI St. Luke's Health Brazosport Health Foundation is hoping the reality television star they are bringing in for their Power of the Pur$e luncheon is a bit hit. They have enlisted "The Little Couple" star Jennifer Arnold to serve as keynote speaker. 

The luncheon takes place April 20th at the Dow Academic Center. A reception and silent auction at the event begin at 10:30 a.m. followed by the noon lunch. 

Arnold will talk about being a cancer survivor. Proceeds raised from the day go towards the ongoing campaign for the cancer center's CT scan. 

Arnold's show has run for eight seasons on TLC. It chronicles the life of her and her husband, Bill. who both have skeletal dysplasia. 

Season six of the show documents Arnold's battle with cancer. In addition to The Little Couple, the Arnolds have appeared on major national programs like "The Dr. Oz Show," "The Oprah Winfrey Show," "Today." 

Arnold is a neontologist and healthcare education simulator. She holds a medical degree from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
