SAHIC Names Hilton Worldwide CEO Christopher Nassetta Keynote Speaker

Speaking about the merits of investment in hotels and tourism should be second nature to Christopher Nassetta by now.  The President and CEO of Hilton Worldwide will address those topics and more as the keynote speaker at the South American Hotel Investment and Tourism Conference.

The conference will be held September 27-28 in Guayaquil, Ecuador at the Hilton Colon.  Until tomorrow, attendees can register at a special rate of $1,050.

Nassetta first joined Host Hotels in 1995 as an Executive Vice President and also served as COO before rising to the CEO post.  Before directly jumping into the hotel business, he co-founded a real estate investment and an advisory company called Bailey Capital.  

Today, Nassetta is still sought after for his business advice, serving on the board of organizations like the World Travel & Tourism Council, the International Youth Foundation, and The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.  He originally graduated from the University of Virginia with a bachelor's degree in finance.
