Singer-Songwriter Kelly Clarkson Makes Tennessee Appearance For New Book

Singer-songwriter Kelly Clarkson has now been one of the biggest names in entertainment for 15 years.  On Sunday, her fans in Tennessee will get a special treat when she makes an appearance to sign her new book.

Clarkson is the author of "River Rose and the Magical Lullaby".  It is a children's book that has an original lullaby that she writes and performs. 

The signing takes place at Parnassus Books in Green Hills at 2 p.m.  In addition to autographing books, Clarkson will also hold a free reading during afternoon storytime at the store. 

Clarkson has released six studio albums and sold twenty-one million albums worldwide.  Ten of her singles have landed in the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. 

Three of Clarkson's albums, including her latest release, "Piece by Piece" have hit the top spot on the Billboard 200 list.  She is the winner of three Grammy Awards and four American Music Awards. 

Clarkson rose to fame as the winner of the first season of the hit Fox reality competition series, "American Idol".  Her first single, "A Moment Like This" was the bestselling single in 2002 in the U.S.
