The Good Wife Star Julianna Margulies Holds Chicago-Area Book Signing

Next month, actress Julianna Margulies will be promoting her new children's book in the Chicago area.  She is appearing on May 15th in Naperville at Anderson's Bookshop.  

She is holding a book signing of "Three Magic Balloons" starting at 2 p.m.  For $21, attendees get a copy of the book and a spot in line for an autograph. 

Three Magic Balloons features a story that Margulies father wrote for her and her sisters.  It is about a Saturday trip to the zoo and an encounter with a mysterious balloon man who has magical wares. 

Margulies appearance at Anderson's will come just a week after "The Good Wife" ends its run on CBS after seven seasons.  For her work on the series, she has won two Emmys, a Golden Globe and a Television Critics Association Award.

It was the hit NBC show "ER" where Margulies first gained notoriety.  She picked up the first Emmy Award of her career in 1995 for Oustanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. 

Over Margulies career, she has won eight Screen Actor Guild Awards, making her the most decorated woman in the history of SAG.  Last year, she was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and named one of Time's 100 most influential people in the world.
